What is community acupuncture?
Community acupuncture is a type of acupuncture service which focuses on making acupuncture treatments more accessible and affordable to patients.
We provide acupuncture which is usually in a simpler and shorter form and may involve treatment in a group setting or simply sitting down on a chair.
Why we offer community acupuncture?
At ACUWORKS we have been operating successfully over 14 years. Our practitioners feel that it is now time to give back to community as we understand there are people who need to receive acupuncture but cannot afford regular treatments. Our community acupuncture sessions will benefit people in need and those with long term conditions.
How much does it cost?
It costs $35 per session. If you have private health fund you will be able to claim instantly with HICAPS, making the cost of treatment even lower.
When it is available?
Currently every Wednesday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm. We do not take bookings and treat on a first come first serve basis.
Who will treat you?
Our team of highly qualified and experienced acupuncturist who work throughout the week in private sessions. Unfortunately you cannot choose your practitioner unlike our private sessions.
