As a traditional Chinese medicine practitioner, I am in favour of every patient having access to the best healthcare options that work together for the best outcome. My goal with each patient is to identify any imbalances by investigating not only the symptoms of disease, but also the patient's medical history, general constitution, pulse and tongue. Treatment strategies are then individualised for the patient. Good health and wellness requires a long term view of the patient's body and a focus on prevention as much as treatment. I love that my job is hands on and enables me to help others. I have a background in both traditional Chinese medicine and biomedical research provides patients with a more scientific and evidence based form of treatment. I value that acupuncture and herbal medicine provides my patients with more natural and safer alternatives to invasive treatments and synthetic drugs where they are avoidable.
